Happy February

My third grade students have been very busy this past month creating Valentine cards and woven heart envelopes for patients at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We hope we spread a little cheer and happiness to others. We are now beginning to study Native American Indians by creating clay coil pots.

Our first graders have been sponge painting giant flower pots as a district wide community project. We hope to see our two flower pots beautify the Eastgate area in the Spring.
Second grade artists are creating 2-d snow globes, our fourth graders are studying abstract expressionism with a hard edge painting technique. Lastly our fifth graders will begin tessellations and the artwork of M.C. Escher. As always, volunteers are always welcome.
